Sales Engineer – RMS Roller-Grinder
Location : Remote (HQ based in Harrisburg, South Dakota)
Employment Type : Full-Time

- Serve as the technical and strategic bridge between our engineering capabilities and customer needs
- Engage directly with clients to understand their challenges— including the ones they haven’t verbalized
- Develop tailored solutions by combining your mechanical understanding with innovative thinking
- Lead product presentations, on-site evaluations, and customer demos
- Work closely with internal teams (engineering, production, marketing) to drive each lead through to completion
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling value propositions
- Deliver consistent, accurate reporting and sales forecasting
- Help shape go-to-market strategies through customer feedback and competitive insights

3+ years in sales engineering, technical sales, or applications engineeringStrong mechanical aptitude— you love how things work and how to make them betterProven ability to think critically and creatively under pressureExcellent interpersonal and communication skills— you’re confident with customers and credible with engineersExperience in a technical sales, engineering, or field support role in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical sectorsSelf-starter mentality—you don’t wait for instructions, you look for opportunitiesAbility to travel to client sites, trade shows, and industry eventsBonus Points If You Have :
