ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Reporting to the LC / MS group lead, the Senior Technician, Vapor Lab will support the Chemistry and Regulatory Testing and regulatory submission for JUUL Labs. The Senior Technician is a hands-on, laboratory-based role in Durham, NC that will be responsible in helping to test products for regulatory submissions at Juul Labs. The Senior Technician is highly motivated, nimble at navigating complex challenges, a skilled multitasker, is adaptable and works effectively in a fast-paced environment and works collaboratively with the teams at Juul Labs.

• Perform routine collection of aerosol samples from ENDS devices.
• Perform preparation of aerosol samples for analysis.
• Perform preparation of reagents for lab usage.
• Perform routine maintenance on vapor machines.
• Cleaning of laboratory glassware.
• Write and review scientific documents in a timely manner (SOPs, VOPs, and Work Instructions).
• Manage the regulatory documents systematically in a highly organized fashion.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

A successful Senior Technician will be able to successfully complete assigned tasks in a timely manner. They need to be readily adaptable to change while following established standard operating procedures.

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum 1 year of experience with vaping machines and collection techniques.

Ability to prepare clear and concise written documents.

Ability to communicate issues in a succinct and logical manner.

Strong problem-solving skills.

High motivation and flexibility.

ENDS or nicotine-related products experience is preferred.

Experience in a regulated laboratory environment such as ISO 17025 is preferred but not required.

EDUCATION :

High Degree with 1 year of experience with vaping machines and collection techniques.

SALARY RANGES : Salary varies by role, level and location, and is dependent on the cost of labor in a givengeographic region among other factors. These ranges may be modified at any time.
