Job Summary

The Senior Manager Of Manufacturing Engineering For Caterpillar's Large Power Systems Division In Griffin, Ga Will Be Responsible For Leading Process Improvements That Deliver World Class Quality & Efficiency, Producing Engines, Gensets And Power Modules.

What You Will Do

• Managing the planning, documentation, implementation, support and maintenance of manufacturing processes, procedures, machinery and tooling to improve efficiency, cost effectiveness, quality and safety.
• Researching process performance data to identify and implement process changes that improve yield, runtime, quality, safety and cost-effectiveness.
• Managing the activities and resources for manufacturing engineers, process design and support personnel.
• Providing on-going support for manufacturing problems and deficiencies; troubleshoots technically challenging production problems.

Degree Requirement

Technical / Engineering Degree Or Equivalent Experience Required.

Manufacturing Standards, Procedures And Policies : Extensive knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.

Capacity Planning & Management - Mfg : Extensive knowledge of tools, approaches and practices for determining production demand and ability to manage resources needed to provide satisfactory levels of service.

Project Management : Extensive knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Summary pay range : $156,000.00 - $234,000.00. Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
