We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced machinist skilled in operating a Vertical Turret Lathe (VTL), Horizontal Boring Mill (HBM), and manual lathe. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of mechanical drawings, tight tolerances, interpretation of technical specifications, and proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
Responsibilities :
- Operate and program VTL, HBM, and manual lathe machines to manufacture precision metal components.
- Interpret technical blueprints, process sheets, and manufacturing instructions.
- Set up, mount, and align parts according to project requirements.
- Measure and verify part dimensions using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.
- Make minor adjustments to tools and machines to ensure product quality.
- Follow industrial safety protocols and perform preventive maintenance on machines.
- Work with minimal supervision while meeting established quality and production time standards.
