A nationally operating contractor with a 25+-year history of delivering high-impact industrial, commercial, and government projects is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator to support its next phase of growth.

This role blends desk estimating with the energy of a go-getter who isn’t afraid to take the lead, build relationships, and help land deals . If you love estimating but also enjoy influencing wins, this is your lane.

Commercial Construction Estimator

As a Commercial Construction Estimator , you will prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial, manufacturing, commercial, projects across the U.S. Bonus points if you’ve estimated federal work or understand the complexity of agency-driven contracts.

What You’ll Do

Develop accurate, detailed estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects.

Analyze drawings, specs, and project docs to ensure complete, competitive proposals.

Partner with leadership to support bids, client relationships, and pursuit strategy.

Take initiative in preconstruction efforts—helping the team win work , not just price it.

Collaborate with vendors / subs to secure solid pricing and project data.

Ideal Background

5+ years as a Commercial Construction Estimator

Strong takeoff, analysis, and proposal development skills

Experience with federal projects a major bonus

Entrepreneurial, proactive, relationship-focused personality

Ability to combine technical estimating with a front-facing, go-getter mindset
