Job Summary

AES Indiana is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Functional Analyst to join our Digital Integration and Enterprise Solutions team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the SAP EAM system, supporting asset management processes, and delivering solutions to enhance operational efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAP EAM technologies, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support enterprise-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between AES Digital and AES Operations teams for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), ensuring alignment between digital strategy and operational execution for SAP Plant Maintenance, SAP Materials Management, and SAP Project Systems modules.

Provide expert-level support for SAP Plant Maintenance, delivering timely issue resolution, proactive system improvements, and clear communication with stakeholders.

Monitor and manage data integrity and system reliability across integrated platforms, including SAP ERP, SAP IS-U, GIS, OMS, GWD, and FSM tools.

Collaborate with other Digital counterparts supporting the design, configuration, optimization and maintenance of SAP Utilities Solutions (e.g. Compatible Units, Designs, CRM / CCS, ISU Billing, Device Management, FICA).

Lead and support change management, user readiness, and training efforts to ensure successful adoption of existing applications, new systems and enhancements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 35 years of experience in Enterprise Asset Management and application support within the Utilities sector.

Proficiency in SAP ERP (e.g. Plant Maintenance, Materials Management, Project Systems); and SAP IS-U (e.g. CRM / CCS, ISU Billing, Device Management, FICA).

Experience in the Utilities industry is highly valuable.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience with data governance and security standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in asset management.

Hands-on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance including Tabular Design and Compatible Units and industry-specific accounting, tax and regulatory compliance (PowerPlan).

Experience integrating SAP ERP / SAP IS-U other Utilities applications such as Graphical Work Design, Outage Management System and Geographical Information Systems.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
