DHL Express is seeking a motivated Data Analyst Intern to join our Mechanical Engineering team supporting the advancement of automated warehousing solutions . This role focuses on collecting and analyzing data related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE) across facilities and visualizing insights using Power BI .

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and organize data on MHE assets
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize equipment trends utilization and opportunities for automation.
  • Support engineering teams in identifying data gaps and standardizing reporting formats.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Research best practices in automated warehousing and data analytics.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Data Science or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI ; familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus.
  • Interest in automation robotics and data-driven engineering.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
