Project Manager – North Dallas | Commercial General Contractor
A reputable General Contractor based in North Dallas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This firm delivers a diverse mix of ground-up and renovation projects across the DFW area, with a strong portfolio in office, healthcare, medical, religious, and storage facility builds.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Planning & Execution
- Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and financial tracking
- Lead subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation, and scope reviews
- Review plans, specifications, and ensure full alignment with project scope
Coordination & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact between ownership, architects, engineers, and subcontractorsConduct regular project meetings and deliver updates on schedule, cost, and progressOversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation flowCoordinate closely with the Superintendent to maintain project pace and qualityFinancial & Risk Management
Manage project budgets, cost reports, and forecastingEnsure timely billing, pay applications, and financial accuracyIdentify potential risks and implement proactive mitigation strategiesMaintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standardsQuality Control & Closeout
Ensure all work meets project specifications, building codes, and quality expectationsFacilitate punch-list completion, final inspections, and handover documentationEstablish and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat businessIdeal Candidate :
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on commercial construction projectsProven experience managing ground-up and renovation buildsBackground in office, medical, healthcare, religious, or storage projects preferredStrong budgeting, scheduling, and contract management skillsSkilled communicator with excellent leadership and problem-solving abilitiesMust be local to DFW, with knowledge of regional subcontractors and permittingOSHA 30 certification preferred but not requiredWhat’s On Offer :
