About the Opportunity :

Northwest Talent Solutions (NWTS) is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in manufacturing and consumer products seeking a Director of Quality & Hygiene Systems to oversee all Quality and Hygiene operations at its flagship Bowling Green KY production site .

This high-visibility role is ideal for a proven Quality Leader who thrives on driving continuous improvement maintaining ISO certification integrity and elevating plant-wide performance standards. The position offers direct influence over quality culture audit readiness and compliance within a high-volume globally recognized manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the design and implementation of short- and long-term Quality and Hygiene strategies for the Bowling Green site.

Act as the site Quality Subject Matter Expert embedding Zero Defect and continuous improvement methodologies throughout manufacturing operations.

Serve as the primary contact for external audits (customer 3rd party and regulatory) ensuring readiness and flawless execution.

Oversee and continuously improve ISO management systems (ISO 9001 GMP and related standards).

Partner cross-functionally with R&D Purchasing Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure quality and hygiene excellence from design to production.

Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA processes to identify issues drive corrective action and sustain improvements.

Develop and maintain robust internal audit programs ensuring compliance and ongoing improvement.

Collaborate closely with the plant hygienist to uphold best-in-class hygiene and sanitation standards across all operations.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or related field (Masters preferred).

10 years of professional experience in Quality Hygiene or Manufacturing Systems; at least 5 years in site or divisional leadership .

Demonstrated expertise in ISO GMP HACCP and audit preparation.

Proven ability to lead Zero Defect Lean or Six Sigma initiatives in large-scale manufacturing environments.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Quality certifications (CQE CQA Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred.
