Staff Accountant / CPA Firm

Staff Accountant performing accounting, tax and MAS functions, including write-up, financial statements and tax returns. Must have extensive experience in data entry,10 key and knowledge of Windows Excel / Word. Prior CPA experience desirable using Lacerte Tax Program. We are a Certified Public Accounting firm located in Pasadena, CA since 1977. We perform tax and accounting services for High Net Worth Individuals, Corporations, Trusts, Estates and Partnerships. We perform extensive work in preparing Individual, Corporate and Trust tax returns including annual tax projections. In addition, we have been involved with the transition of ownership for various companies including construction, manufacturing and financial services. Applicant should be highly motivated and be willing to analyze difficult transactions being requested by clients. Job Qualifications : Must have data entry skills, MS office, and 10 key experience. Must be able to adjust client's trial balance including required journal entries. Must be able to assist clients in workman's compensation, multi-state sales and payroll tax issues. Minimum of 3-5 years experience. Previous CPA accounting and tax experience desirable. Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be responsible, dependable and organized. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred. CPA certificate a plus.
