About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (06 : 45 - 19 : 15)

Experience : Minimum 2 years required; Will accept first-time traveler

License : Valid State License required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP required; AWHONN beginner and intermediate required, advanced preferred

Must-Have :

• Management of vaginal deliveries and associated complications such as postpartum hemorrhage
• Scheduled, urgent, and stat C-sections
• Phase I and II post-anesthesia care
• Fetal heart monitoring
• Self-scheduling with approved RTO and special requests

Description :

This position may require call and floating between various OB areas.

Every other weekend or four weekend shifts per schedule are required.

Candidates should be prepared to clock in and out for all shifts and confirm time weekly.

Minimal holiday requests are allowed, and scheduling to work at least one major holiday is typically required unless agreed otherwise in advance.

Support services available include phlebotomy, respiratory services, language interpretation, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.

Provider coverage is available 24 / 7, including Certified Nurse Midwife.

The patient population served includes women of childbearing age in the antepartum, intrapartum, or postpartum phases of care.

A level II special care nursery is available for stable newborns who have completed 32 weeks and greater.
