We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Supervise document control procedures, including scanning, organizing, and maintaining records.
- Develop and implement efficient systems for compiling and managing financial documents.
- Ensure the timely preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline document workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Maintain and update financial policies and procedures to align with industry best practices.
- Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance across all operations.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management or related roles.
- Proven expertise in document control and scanning processes.
- Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation with an active license. Preference is being given to candidates with public accounting experience
- A foundation of tax knowledge.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
