Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) role based in Lake Mary, FL. The COTA will support licensed occupational therapists in delivering therapy sessions, focusing on pediatric patients with Sensory Processing Disorders and other developmental concerns. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and contributing to the development of family-focused home programs. The COTA will play a collaborative role in helping children achieve therapy goals in an engaging and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation to support therapy sessions and foster patient progress.
• Experience in Patient Care and Program Development, with a focus on pediatric populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with therapists, families, and patients.
• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and valid licensure in the state of Florida.
• Prior experience working in pediatric occupational therapy settings is a plus.
