Job Duties / Responsibilities :
The Military Liaison reports to the Director of Business Development to execute the strategic plan for UBH Denton’s Patriot Support Program growth, and other programs within UBH, public relations efforts and referral source service and satisfaction within a specified geographic area. Qualifications
Education : A Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience : Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in health care business development / marketing environment with measurable business development results, and a knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles, preferred. Must have knowledge of Military Base accessibility and protocols; with understanding of the process for mental health referrals and treatment within the military.
Licensure : Must have a valid driver's license.
Knowledge : Prefer knowledge of the Texas (DFW) behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment and, age-specific programming. Must possess demonstrated business development concepts, sales abilities, competency in computer usage, and excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of and skills in application of marketing and sales principles; creativity and flexibility; skills in data collection analysis and interpretation; record of adherence to deadlines; customer service skills; willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required.
