Office Admin General I

Job Location : Shreveport, LA

Pay : $19.00 / hour

Monday-Thursday 7 : 30-4 : 30pm, Friday 7 : 30am-2 : 30pm, Saturday 6am-10am or 7am-12pm

The Office General I will provide ADMINISTRATIVE support by performing routine office or clerical support tasks according to well established company procedures. Will perform cross-functional duties within the logistics Distribution Center to support the workflow and operation flow.

Qualifications :

  • Proficient in using MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Clerical administrative or similar experience
  • Accounts payable a plus!

    • DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Assist in training associates as needed.
  • Work at multiple office stations as needed.
  • File documents, sort, and separate labels.
  • Create inbound / outbound files.
  • Communicate with customers daily, through various channels, responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
  • Monitor OOR Daily Monitor / assist with billing and / or special projects as needed.
  • Work closely with operations and office team, always follow up with all departments.
  • Assist with the development and administration of various departmental projects and prepares reports.
  • Maintains reports as assigned.
  • Responsibilities include - waving, routing, carrier communication, updating system, preparing orders for processing and closing shipments.
  • Complete tasks as required by the department manager / supervisors.
  • Maintains harmony among workers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
