Major Gift Fundraiser
Children's Minnesota is one of the largest pediatric health systems in the United States and the only health system in Minnesota to provide care exclusively to children, from before birth through young adulthood. Children's Hospitals and Clinics Foundation department is the fundraising arm of Children's. Gifts to the Foundation support treatment programs, provide support for patients and families, fund medical research, and raise awareness of pediatric health issues throughout the community.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the major gift and foundation grant teams while maintaining an individual portfolio of at least 125 donors / prospective donors. This includes donor strategy, engagement, identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. This position will have quantitative fundraising goals including dollars raised, proposals submitted / closed, visits and qualifications. This position oversees strategic fundraising initiatives and projects for the Foundation. It will cross-functionally lead initiatives across the healthcare system, overseeing relationships and projects across system-wide programs to ascertain and create compelling philanthropic cases for support, defining priorities, develop proposals and ensure strong connections for grateful patients. This position is responsible to grow and develop a collaborative, results-oriented team utilizing fundraising best-practices with a donor-centered culture. This position reports to the VP of Philanthropy. Location (e.g. remote or on-site) : Remote work. Occasional on-site for team meetings, donor visits, events and tours.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs. In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
