We are a professional janitorial services provider in search of a seasoned Outside Sales Development Representative to help grow our business. We are currently looking to build a dynamic sales team and are looking for qualified candidates who are self-motivated and have several years of sales experience in any industry and who is located in the state of Texas . As an Outside Sales Representative you will be responsible for generating new business with the primary focus on selling our professional cleaning services to a diverse customer base in the Texas area.
Ideal candidates will have proven outside sales management experience. This role will prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales.
Responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Identify leads manage prospects and acquire new business
- Prepare detailed and accurate presentations proposals and sales contracts
- Meet established goals for territory development
- Present and sell all janitorial products and services
- Prepare detailed and accurate presentations proposals and sales contracts
- Prepare business plans indicating how goals will be met
- Prepare status reports including activity closings follow-up and adherence to goals
- Coordinate prepare for and participate in marketing events
Requirements :
Bachelors Degree or Associates with extensive experience in successful outside sales. Other combinations of education and experience may be consideredMust have 5 or more years of experience in sales or supplies and cold calling sales or related experienceExperience in developing and executing territory sales strategiesStrong presentation negotiation and closing skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goalsProven outside sales manager in janitorial sales or any labor intensive industryMust be able to pass a criminal background checkMust have an assertive personality and documented success with strategic sellingMust have the ability to persuade and influence others to develop and deliver presentations and to create compose and edit written materialsSolid knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniquesConsistent professional appearance and demeanorStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook PowerPoint and web-based document sharingMust be able to sit in a car for long periods of time lift and carry 50 pounds reach bend and climb stairsThis outside sales position requires regular travel and a willingness to work a flexible scheduleBenefits :
