Job Posting : Sterile Processing Technician Night Shift Client : Wellstar Cobb Hospital Location : Austell, Georgia Job ID : 14896 Bill Rate : Travel $40 / hr | Local $30 / hr Assignment Length : 13 Weeks Start Date : 12 / 08 / 2025 End Date : 03 / 08 / 2026 Job Reference Code : JR-58395 Position Details Shift : Nights | 11 : 00 PM 7 : 00 AM Weekly Hours : 40 Daily Hours : 8 Shifts per Week : 5 Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and process incoming surgical instruments and equipment Perform decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization according to department standards Assemble surgical instrument trays and sterile packs accurately Monitor sterilizer equipment for proper function and maintain documentation logs Store and distribute sterile supplies and equipment safely Adhere to infection control guidelines and safety standards Support Central Sterile Supply and Materials Management as needed Required Certifications Candidates must hold one of the following (or obtain within 1 year if provisional) : CRCST Certified Registered Central Service Technician CRCST-P Provisional (must obtain full certification within 1 year) CSPDT Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician CSPDT-P Provisional (must obtain full certification within 1 year) Requirements Minimum 1 year of Sterile Processing experience Night Shift : 11 PM 7 AM Strong attention to detail & adherence to strict protocols Ability to work in fast-paced hospital environment On-call and floating may be required
