Machine Operator - Immediate Hiring

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to create and develop CNC programs for new development projects directly from part drawings. The role involves setting up and operating a variety of machine tools, including HAAS Lathe and 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machining centers, to produce metallic and composite parts with precision. You will be responsible for downloading and running CNC programs, conducting machine setups, and verifying settings to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and CAD models.

Responsibilities

  • Create CNC programs for new development projects.
  • Develop CNC programs to optimize quality and minimize production time.
  • Set up and operate machine tools such as HAAS Lathe and 3, 4, and 5-axis milling centers.
  • Download and run necessary CNC programs for production.
  • Conduct machine setups by installing and adjusting various components.
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
  • Verify machine settings and ensure compliance with international standards.
  • Use machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Determine materials, parts, and equipment required for tasks.
  • Set up and operate precision machine tools to create original parts.
  • Solve work-holding, material, machine settings, and tool-related problems.
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs across shifts.
  • Complete production work instructions and update job knowledge through educational opportunities.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in machine operation and inspection.
  • Experience with HAAS machinery setup and editing.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and work with sheet metal.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Citizen , Permanent Resident Card Holder, or eligible to work for any employer.
  • Associates degree or certificate in a technical area preferred.
  • Experience in assembly or manufacturing is beneficial.
  • High aptitude for working with small electronics, including soldering.
  • Experience in the space or aeronautical field is an advantage.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00 / hr.
