AI Security Engineer

Job Title : AI Security Engineer

Location : Durham, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Duration : 12+ months Contract

Required Qualifications :

8+ years building full-stack enterprise applications

Strong development background in Java or Python, with unit testing using Junit or Pytest

5+ years experience in API development (REST, gRPC), security frameworks, and cloud-native architecture

Proficiency in Kubernetes, container management, and deploying AI models on platforms like AWS Bedrock, SageMaker

Preferred Skills :

Cybersecurity certifications : CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent

Familiarity with security risks in Gen AI, including adversarial ML, data leakage, and prompt manipulation

Knowledge of AI / ML model performance tuning and secure deployment in production environments

Experience with React / Angular for front-end integrations
