Sales Intern

In our intern program students will gain understanding of Dental Citys Sales operation and work directly with our sales team to enhance our customer experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Contact prospects to identify appropriate contacts qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
• Engage in product discussions and promotions with customers in order to gain sales.
• Become knowledgeable and up-to-date on products and tools of the trade.
• Keep accurate notes to ensure there is understanding of customer needs for any incoming or outgoing contact.
• Follow-up after purchases to ensure delivery and product experience is satisfactory.
• Support other team members for sales coverage when they are unavailable.
• Adhere to all business procedures to maintain accuracy and uninterrupted order processing.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Progress towards an Associate or Bachelor degree in business related field preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Be able to read write and communicate fluently in English. Must have good vision. No unusual lifting required. Work is performed with standard office equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is conducted in an office setting with adequate lighting and temperature settings. No hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise or dust. Typically no travel requirements.
