As a Gastroenterology Physician at a level 1A health system, you will provide comprehensive care alongside a dedicated team of medical professionals. The role includes working in the GI Lab and outpatient clinic, with an emphasis on patient care for veterans and their families. Equipped with a full range of medical, surgical, and ancillary support you will provide the highest levels of interdisciplinary care. Every member of our team works towards one unified goal, to provide the best patient and family care experience possible to all those who have BRAVELY served in our Armed Forces. Join our 4 current MD s, our 3 Midlevel providers, and our clinical care team of around 12 support staff and together lead our Gastroenterology program to new and greater heights.

Work Load :

• Monday Friday, 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm.
• 4 days per week in the GI Lab, 4-6 procedures per day.
• 1 / 2 day per week in clinic, starting at 6 patients per clinic.
• 1 / 2 day per week administrative, education, and research if interested.
• 1 / 5 shared inpatient consult service and call coverage, approximately 4-8 patients per day, with Resident and Fellow support.
• Hospitalist team covers all admission and discharge responsibilities.
• Reduced clinic and lab loads during inpatient consult days.
