Employee Relations Counselor, North America Houston, Texas

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Employee Relations Counselor, North America through 11 / 21 / 2025 at 11 : 59 p.m. Central Time Zone.

This role follows a flexible schedule with four days in the office and a hybrid option on Fridays.

We also offer a 9 / 80 schedule for eligible employees, providing every other Friday off.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to :

• Start-to-finish handling of investigative processes including intake, strategic planning, conducting interviews, data (evidence) gathering and analysis, report writing, updating case management systems, involving stakeholders and providing updates.
• Provide consultative services to business management at all levels on topics including performance management, discipline, and other corrective actions.
• Facilitate dispute and conflict resolution processes.
• Partner with other Chevron organizations pertaining to work assignments (e.g., Employment Law, Global Security, IT Forensics, Labor Relations, Ombuds).
• Represent Chevron through professional organizations to benchmark and understand external ER-related matters, best practices, processes, and tools.
• Attend unemployment claims appeal hearings as a Chevron representative.
• Lead and / or support special projects as assigned.
