Full-Time Brighton, MA About the Role A well-respected Boston-area community hospital with a strong academic affiliation is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible General Gastroenterologist to join its growing GI service line. This role blends the feel of community-based practice with the resources, collaboration, and prestige of a major academic medical center. This is an ideal opportunity for a gastroenterologist who enjoys broad-spectrum GI care supported by excellent infrastructure, advanced specialists, and optional academic involvement. Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient general gastroenterology services
- Perform routine GI procedures including EGD and colonoscopy
- Manage general GI conditions (GERD, liver disease, IBS / IBD, GI bleeding, etc.)
- Participate in rotating inpatient coverage and call
- Collaborate with a tertiary GI service for complex case referrals
- Engage in a multidisciplinary environment with APPs, nurses, anesthesia, and hospital leadership
- Optional academic and professional growth avenues :
- Teaching students and residents
- Participation in clinical quality initiatives
- Research / scholarly collaboration (if desired)
