About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to uphold and reflect its values in all operational aspects. The COO will work closely with the CEO and the Executive Team, providing strategic leadership and executive oversight of finance, accounting, and operational functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and alignment, as well as leading the Foundation's commitment to sustainability and net-zero carbon emissions. Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a deep commitment to the Foundation's mission and values, with a proven track record of leading complex organizational operations and driving system-wide improvements. A strong background in finance, operations, and information technology is essential, with experience in a foundation, non-profit, or mission-driven organization strongly preferred. The role requires exceptional leadership, strategic, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and foster a culture of trust and collaboration. The ideal candidate will be a creative, solutions-oriented thinker, adept at navigating ambiguity and competing priorities, and will demonstrate a strong focus on integrity, agility, and innovation.
