Unit Overview : Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, caring for a diverse and complex patient population, including :
Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow cases.What You'll Do :
Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care.Support optimal outcomes with clinical judgment, skilled communication, and critical thinking.Enhance patient experience across the continuum of care.Why Join Us?

Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.Proactively recognize significant changes in patients' conditions and adjust care as needed.Implement safety strategies to reduce patient risks and enhance patient readiness to learn.Coordinate discharge plans using an interdisciplinary approach.Advocate for a culture of safety by reporting and addressing potential safety issues.Engage in professional development activities and maintain required competencies.Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.Education Required :
Completion of an accredited or approved Nursing program.Experience Required :
Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
Ability to provide holistic patient care with a focus on patient and family needs.Demonstrated capacity for critical thinking and timely intervention.Proficient in electronic medical record systems and excellent communication skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
