Sr. API Web Services Developer - Onsite 5x / week

Our client is a mid-sized organization that provides various commercial, government, and distribution solutions within the aviation industry. They are looking for a Sr. Web Services Developer to join the team as an API SME and go to resource working hand and hand with the UI / UX, database, and back-end development teams as they all work to modernize existing / legacy platforms. They need to be able to jump in and hit the ground running as it relates to developing with spring boot specifically for java, as well as excellent proficiency with SQL / NoSQL databases, and the designing of RESTful and SOAP APIs for web services.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of backend java development experience.
• java spring boot specific experience.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Extensive microservice architecture experience.
• Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud Services experience.
• BA in related fields.
