Summary :

Goldbelt CP Marine is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to support the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) in Norfolk, VA.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions :

• Provide advanced technical expertise in the design, development, and implementation of systems, applications.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions to resolve problems efficiently.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of technical projects, meeting specifications, timelines, and budget.
• Act as a technical advisor, offering recommendations on best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies to enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior technical staff, providing training and support to develop their skills and technical competencies.
• Review and approve technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
• Monitor system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and external partners to ensure successful integration and support of third-party tools or technologies.
• Conduct technical assessments and evaluations of new technologies, tools, or systems, providing detailed analysis and recommendations to leadership.
• Participate in technical design and architecture reviews, ensuring solutions align with business goals and technical requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
