Experience in one or more of the following programming or scripting languages : Python JavaScript / Typescript Java Bash Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent years of experience. 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles. Certification in AWS or DevOps is preferred. Experience in the cryptocurrency, blockchain, or high-performance computing industries is a plus. About the role
As the newest member of our expanding Software Engineering department, the Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining DevOps solutions that support our Bitcoin mining and data center operations. This role will collaborate closely with software engineering, IT, and cyber security to automate infrastructure, streamline deployments, and ensure our systems are secure, reliable, and scalable across both cloud and on-premises environments.
Essential Functions
- Design, build, and maintain CI / CD pipelines for both AWS and on-premises infrastructure.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit).
- Collaborate with software engineers, data center operations, and IT teams to deliver seamless deployment and monitoring solutions.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of compute, storage, and network resources.
- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for both cloud and on-prem environments.
- Ensure security best practices are followed across all infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps best practices across the organization.
