Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Estimator / Pre-Construction Manager role in Washougal. Key Responsibilities :

Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor pricing.
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to assess scope and requirements.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to refine project plans.
Manage bid proposals and participate in contract negotiations.
Conduct risk assessments and value engineering analysis to optimize costs.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
Assist in the pre-construction planning process, including budgeting, scheduling, and procurement strategies.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, material costs, and best practices in estimating and pre-construction management.

Qualifications :

10+ years of experience in construction estimating, pre-construction, or a related field.

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift, or similar).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
