job_description.job_card.job_descriptionScreen patients and make the appropriate referral for services required Prepare charts for sessions as assigned by Nurse Manager / Charge Nurse and assure that all laboratory work and ancillary reports are entered Document all clinical transactions with patient on patient's chart Assist the Nurse Manager / Charge Nurse with case management activities and document actions taken Assist the medical staff with treatment and diagnostic procedures (e.g., urine catheterization, fixes slides for pap smears, hand instruments to Physicians) Perform EKGs and venipuncture on Adults and Pediatric patients Administer injections (flu shots and immunizations) Monitor equipment and supplies for clinic session, assuring adequate quantities are available Handle patient care follow ups; document action taken in patient's chart Perform other duties, as needed 1+ year of experience as an LPN in an Ambulatory Healthcare setting Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Patient oriented Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Bilingual English / Chinese a plus!
