Job Description :

This is an LTACH position seeking an RN with strong PCU / MS / Tele experience due to the high-acuity patient population. MS / Tele experience within the last year is required.

LTACH (Long-Term Acute Care Hospital) cares for highly acute patients who require extended hospitalization before discharge to home, acute rehab, or skilled nursing. Patient acuity ranges from med-surg level to intubated / trached, ventilated patients. ICU nurses frequently float to LTACH due to the complexity of care. Common cases include post-open heart, cystic fibrosis, vent weaning, pulmonary fibrosis, and a high volume of sepsis patients.

Float : Required

Weekends : Every 3rd weekend; 8 weekend shifts per contract

Self-scheduling

Ratios : 1 : 5

Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius (reduced rate applies)

Experience : Minimum 1 year

Education : BSN preferred

Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

License : Pending license accepted; must be active before start
