They are pivotal in shaping the design strategy and vision of DISCO, ensuring the delivery of compelling and user-centric products. Their core functions include defining design direction, collaborating with cross-functional leaders, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Design Vision & Excellence : Develops and communicates a strategic design vision for the product suite, aligning with overall business goals and objectives. Sets and maintains high standards for design quality, ensuring a consistent and exceptional user experience across all products.
  • Design System Leadership : Oversees the development and evolution of design systems, ensuring consistency and efficiency in design workflows.
  • User Research & Insights : Champions user research initiatives targeted at gathering insights that inform design decisions, user workflow and overall user experience
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborates with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design solutions within the product development lifecycle.

Who You Are

  • 8-10+ years of experience in product design, with 5+ years in a leadership or director-level role
  • Proven track record of successful leadership in a product design capacity.
  • Experience in managing design teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with working on consumer-facing products or complex enterprise-level applications.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
