About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the financial management and strategic planning of the organization. The CFO will be responsible for developing and presenting the annual budget in collaboration with senior and regional leadership teams, as well as monitoring and reconciling budgets to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational performance. This role also involves overseeing cash flow management, leading financial review meetings, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and decision-making. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have the ability to manage complex budgeting, audits, and financial reporting for large-scale operations. A strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards and compliance requirements is essential, as is the skill in preparing detailed financial reports and presenting insights to boards and committees. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in overseeing capital projects and managing restricted and unrestricted funds, and be proficient in contract administration and coordinating insurance and facility operations. A minimum of 10 years in senior financial leadership roles, with a focus on the nonprofit sector, is required, along with a proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar budgets and audits, and a deep understanding of GAAP principles, grant management, and capital financing. Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are a must, as is familiarity with financial systems such as QuickBooks Online and Salesforce.
