Experienced Forklift Operator - Walford, IA
Shift : Full-Time 40 hours Monday - Friday 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM
Pay : $19.00 per hour (Overtime may be available)

Key Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload trailers with precision and care.
- Execute order picking and preparation for shipment, ensuring 100% accuracy of product type and quantity.
- Locate and strategically re-locate merchandise for optimal space utilization and warehouse efficiency.
- Maintain meticulous and accurate records of all inventory movements and shipments.
- Conduct all warehouse equipment operations (forklifts, attachments, tools) in a safe and efficient manner to prevent injury, product damage, and facility damage.
- Immediately report any maintenance or safety issues with equipment.
- Actively participate in maintaining overall warehouse cleanliness, sanitation, pest control, and strict adherence to food safety protocols.
- Effectively communicate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
Proven, verifiable prior experience operating a sit-down forklift, with demonstrated job longevity in previous roles on resume.High level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to inventory accuracy.Basic competency in math and PC skills.Ability to maintain continuous focus and effectively solve space utilization / logistics problems.Effective communication skills and the physical capability to perform all duties as described.Pre-Employment Requirements
Successful candidates must pass the following :
Physical Capacity Test (CRT / Stress Test) and physical examination.Pre-employment drug screen.7-year National criminal background check.Physical Demands : Must be able to occasionally lift 50 - 60 lbs , and frequently bend, stoop, and safely mount / dismount the forklift.
Work Environment
This position operates within a dusty, humid warehouse setting with temperatures ranging from 40°ree;F to 90°ree;F . Candidates must be aware of possible odors and the presence of food allergens (soy and wheat).
