ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Driver at Belmont Village Sunnyvale, you will work as part of our Activity Department team to provide safe transportation as well as support with resident activities as needed to residents of Belmont Village Sunnyvale using company vehicles. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with scheduled resident activities as needed including set up and facilitating group activities

Ensure safe operation of the company vehicles in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances

Assist residents in and out of company vehicles as needed which may include the use of a mechanical wheelchair lift

Assist with Concierge duties as needed

Make hospitality, customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent

Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement required.

Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English

Minimum 6 months experience leading group activities

Demonstrated willingness to learn and work

Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude

Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
