Job Description : Tray Line Runner
Position Overview :
The Tray Line Runner plays a crucial role in supporting kitchen and dining operations by efficiently delivering prepared food items from the kitchen to designated areas. This position ensures timely and accurate distribution of meals, helping maintain smooth service flow and a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Collect and transport food trays and orders from the kitchen or serving line to designated delivery points.
Ensure accuracy of orders by verifying items before delivery.
Communicate promptly with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate delivery times.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tray line and delivery equipment.
Assist with restocking supplies and cleaning duties as needed.
Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines during handling and delivery of food items.
Support the team during busy periods by assisting with other operational tasks.
Qualifications :
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physically able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required.
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
Shift :
6 : 30 AM to 2 : 30 PM
Work Attire :
A jacket will be provided; employees are required to wear black pants and black slip-resistant shoes.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift and carry trays and food items repeatedly throughout the shift.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods without fatigue.
