The company supplies platform controls, aircraft components, liquid oxygen equipment, emergency breathing equipment, and gas regulators to its customers.

Position Summary :

We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role is responsible for efficient, accurate and timely processing of accounts payables in accordance with established guidelines and procedures by performing the following duties for assigned facilities / vendors.

Essential Job Responsibilities :

• Utilizing an electronic database to accurately perform 3-way match and approve all purchase orders, invoices, receivers, utility bills, and services.
• Scans, prints, and uploads paperwork into electronic database.
• Ensures invoice approvals are submitted for payment within the supplier’s net payment terms.
• Coordinates all activities related to payment discrepancies by researching issues and utilizing the ERP system.
• Works closely with Suppliers, Procurement, Quality, and Accounting to get paperwork processed / approved in a timely manner.
• Opening and sorting of all mail.
• Reviews weekly accounts payable clearing report to ensure any aging issues are being addressed and resolved.
• Enters expense and PO related invoices into Accounts Payable system for payment.
• Reconciles and approves monthly P-Card expenses in Bill.com.
• Reviews and approves Employee Expense Reports for payment.
• Other projects and duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Education and Experience :

Knowledge equal to high school diploma with 1 year experience in related position (Accounts Payable or Procurement). Associate degree in accounting a plus.

The pay for this position starts at a minimum of $23.09 / hr. when the minimum job requirements are met and goes up based upon a candidate’s experience and qualifications in a similar role. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance.
