Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls, year-round from Ball customers to provide best in class customer service.
- Qualify potential customers, establishing new accounts.
- Handle customer concerns, working to provide appropriate solutions.
- Provide support to customers regarding product selection, placement of orders, order confirmation, order changes, pricing information, and claims entry in a reliable and timely manner.
- Perform order tracking and investigative work involving plant tags, freight, and back-ordered plant material with necessary follow-up to customers and other interested parties.
- Cross train in all Customer Relations functions.
- Assist in executing reports and documents used to help customers rebook orders each season.
- Handle phone and email inquiries regarding literature requests.
- Support the department by taking on additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.
Requirements
Two years experience of customer service, marketing, or inside sales.Associate or bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in business, marketing, sales and / or horticulture.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)Knowledge of SAP software systems is desirable.Demonstrate experience in working well independently as well as part of a team.Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.Strong phone handling and active listening skills.Spanish or French fluency is desirable.Demonstrate Resourcefulness : Think outside of the box to find solutions for customers.Manage Complexity : Make sense of complex situations, with the ability to clearly inform customers.Be A Nimble Learner : Relish the challenge of undertaking new, unfamiliar tasks.Possess Resiliency : Maintain a positive attitude despite adversity.Demonstrate Courage : Readily tackle challenging assignments.Pay Range : $20-22 / hour
