As a Java Developer within our dynamic team, you will be immersed in a challenging yet rewarding environment. You will contribute to a wide range of trading applications, focusing on feature enhancements, performance improvements, bug fixes, and troubleshooting production issues. This role offers a unique opportunity to hone your technical skills while working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about innovation.

What You’ll Do :

• Develop and maintain core Java code in accordance with existing application architecture and design.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to address and resolve any reported issues.
• Analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance system performance.
• Leverage automation tools and techniques to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
• Proactively manage your workload to ensure timely delivery of projects and tasks.
• Contribute innovative ideas for continuous improvement and system enhancements.
• Actively participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Collaborate effectively with other teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Must-Have Qualifications :

This role will be hybrid, working onsite two days per week at the client’s Chicago, IL office.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $57 to $70 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
