Premier national law firm is seeking a strong Litigation Legal Secretary / Assistant to join their large Los Angeles branch office. The ideal candidate will have substantial civil litigation defense experience, be familiar with e-filing in state / federal courts, calendaring, TOC / TOA, and various legal administrative duties. If you are a strong Legal Secretary / Assistant with demonstratable litigation experience, and are looking for a new opportunity with an industry leader that fosters continued growth, please apply for prompt and professional consideration!

Responsibilities :

  • Editing and finalizing litigation documents
  • Calendaring court dates / deadlines
  • Filing with State and Federal courts (including e-filing)
  • General administrative duties, such as answering phones, expense reports, timekeeping, and managing the attorney's schedules

Qualifications :

  • Must have at least 3-4+ years of civil litigation defense experience
  • Must have knowledge of court filing requirements, including experience with e-filing in state / federal courts

    • Strong software skills and knowledge, (MS Word, Outlook), legal software, etc.

    Excellent communication skills to communicate with attorneys, staff, and clients
