American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification, BLS, and neuro / peripheral IR experience for a hospital-based position.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is based in a hospital interventional radiology department with inpatient and outpatient caseloadsFeatures 4 angiography suites (2 single-plane, 2 biplane), 1 dedicated CT scanner, and 1 multipurpose fluoroscopy suite for pain managementHandles patients requiring vascular, neuro, and oncologic interventionsAdvanced imaging technology and equipment are utilizedEpic EMR experience is requiredFour 10-hour day shifts weekly, Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM, with one rotating day offPossible weekend coverage may be neededCall is required, including one primary call per week and one primary call weekend per month with a 30-minute callback timeHoliday coverage or call is required for at least one holiday per 13-week contractResponsibilities include performing minimally invasive vascular, neuro, and oncologic procedures using advanced imaging guidanceRole may involve both inpatient and outpatient proceduresWork in a team-oriented, Level I Trauma Center environmentMust be able to submit all RTO requests with initial applicationMust work as part of a rotation for holiday coverage alongside permanent staff\n \n Requirements\n
Current ARRT (R) required; CV or VI credentials accepted, with VI preferredCurrent BLS certification from the AHA is requiredExperience with neuro and peripheral vascular interventions is requiredEpic EMR experience is requiredVirginia state license preferred; any active state license (in hand or pending) accepted; emergency authorization possible for those awaiting VA licensureLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
