The Program Coordinator will supervise the mentoring / tutoring program for elementary school aged children. Looking for a strong, creative candidate who can work independently and manage the day to day operations of the program. Will work in collaboration with the Angel’s Flight Program Director to maintain a strong program that serves at risk children in the Wilmington area of Los Angeles.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for developing curriculum, recruiting, and working with students.
- Supervises, assigns, instructs, trains, and may evaluate assigned staff and / or volunteers.
- Prepares program reports.
- Resolves problems encountered by staff.
- Maintain good communication with the parents of the students enrolled in the program.
- Represents program at various agency and community meetings.
- Works in collaboration with other agencies in the community.
- Maintains a good working relationship with the local schools.
- Responds to internal and community correspondence memos.
- Clarifies and implements policy for staff and volunteers.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
