Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to support complex drafting and modeling projects. This role involves close collaboration with project managers and engineers to develop high-quality technical drawings and 3D models for fabrication and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret verbal and written specifications to create detailed CAD drawings and 3D models.

Use AutoCAD and SolidWorks to design and prepare plans for new products and systems.

Apply engineering and manufacturing principles to produce effective product designs.

Prepare multiple design iterations for engineering review.

Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for fabrication and construction.

Develop 3D models from prototypes and 2D drawings.

Participate in project meetings and client calls as needed.

Prepare engineering documentation for customer submittals.

Qualifications :

Associate’s degree in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Hourly Range : $21-$30hr
