Lead Superintendent – K-12 / Public Sector Projects

Charleston, SC

Carolina Search Group is working with a respected Southeast-based GC who is looking for a Lead Superintendent to oversee K-12 and public-sector construction projects in the Charleston, SC area. Ideal candidates bring experience with additions / renovations, occupied campuses, and logistics-heavy sites.

What You’ll Do :

  • Lead field operations for multi-million-dollar institutional projects
  • Coordinate owners, designers, trade partners, and internal teams
  • Manage schedules, logistics, safety, and quality on active jobsites
  • Serve as the decision-maker and on-site leader from start to finish

Ideal Candidate :

  • 10+ years of jobsite supervision (including 5+ as Superintendent)
  • Background in K-12, higher ed, or public-sector work
  • Strong renovation / phased construction experience
  • Clear communicator, relationship builder, and problem solver
