Vinyl is the number one stylized vinyl collectible on the market, selling millions of figures to fans around the world.The Director of FP&A will play a critical role in bridging financial planning with internal and external reporting. This position will lead and manage in financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis while serving as a supporting partner with Accounting. The role requires a proactive professional who can partner cross-functionally, implement process improvements, and deliver high-quality financial insights to both internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Do   Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead and manage the company’s annual budget, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
  • Provide scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and “what-if” modeling to evaluate strategic options.
  • Facilitate the use of forecasting, planning, and reporting tools to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Analyze operating results, identifying variances to forecast, budget, and prior periods, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Partner with business unit leaders in Wholesale and DTC operations to evaluate key performance drivers, profitability, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly performance dashboards and executive presentations.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy, reporting timeliness, and analytical capabilities

Reporting & Technical Abilities

  • Facilitate the use of the company’s forecasting tool (Vena) and reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and usability for decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, disclosures, and related support, including management discussion and analysis for all external reporting obligations.
  • Prepare internal and external presentations for the Board, Audit Committee, and other stakeholders.
  • Partner with Accounting to research and provide financial guidance on complex transactions, including acquisitions, impairments, investments, and other non-routine business events.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with all Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) documentation and requirements as necessary
  • Perform other special projects as required by the VP of FP&A.
  • What You’ll Bring

  • 7-10 years of related work experience
  • 5+ years of people management is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related area is required
  • MBA or other professional accreditation such as CFA, CMA or CPA is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel in particular)
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting requirements desirable
  • Proven ability to research, analyze, and resolve complex financial and reporting matters.
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills
  • Proficient organizational and time management skills to independently prioritize multiple tasks and bring projects to completion in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and analysis skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Salary Information  The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $131,250 - $175,000 annually.​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses / incentives, and restricted stock units.
