Description :

CCB Packaging, a locally owned leader in the packaging industry, is looking for a Quality Controls Coordinator to join our Quality team! This position will be responsible for creating, analyzing, reviewing, implementing and maintaining Quality program controls throughout the organization and will interact with staff to ensure process control changes are accurately recorded and implemented. This is a day-shift position.

Essential Responsibilities Include :

  • Develop and maintain all QMS documentation
  • Review production records (hard and electronic) and address any corrective actions
  • Regularly perform data entry as required per Quality Management direction
  • Oversee electronic record storage and record retention programs
  • Follow and assist with implementation and maintaining of all applicable GFSI requirements
  • Create, follow through with, and take responsibility for multiple action plans with limited support
  • Identify and report missing documentation from the current registers
  • Conduct random audits of employee knowledge based upon defined Food Safety Program criteria
  • Conduct designated facility monitoring / mapping programs
  • Perform facility inspections to ensure compliance with documented programs
  • Assist all departments throughout the organization with food safety training aspects

Qualifications Include :

  • Excellent computer skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Solid documentation skills along with strong planning and organizational skills
  • Willingness to drive change with a positive attitude
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Primarily a day shift position but must have flexibility, on occasion, to monitor and assist other shifts
  • A high school diploma or GED is required along with 2 - 5 years' experience in Quality Controls roles within a food manufacturing / packaging environment. GFSI scheme experience preferred.
