Senior Accountant - JARS Cannabis

JARS Cannabis is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced and rapidly evolving team. This position plays a key role in driving accurate and timely month-end close processes, while also providing strategic support to the Controller and leading continuous improvement across the accounting function.

Key Responsibilities :

• Month-End Close :

Prepare and post month-end journal entries including accruals, amortization, lease entries, and other necessary adjustments.

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and internal reporting packages.

Work within Sage Intacct to perform day-to-day accounting functions, create dashboards, and enhance reporting efficiency.

Oversee daily activities of accounting staff to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with company policies.

You should be equally comfortable getting into the details of journal entries as you are stepping back to analyze the big picture.
