Position Summary :

W are looking for a Technical Specialist to support the Failure Analysis team with activities related to customer field returns. This position is responsible for conducting basic defect investigations on low to moderately complex issues and assisting Failure Analysis Engineers with related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Perform defect investigations under moderate supervision.

Assist senior engineers in designing experiments to :

Confirm defect root causes.

Replicate failure modes.

Validate corrective actions.

Follow established procedures and work instructions for testing and analysis.

Document findings and maintain accurate records of test results.

Operate standard lab equipment including multimeters microscopes and X-ray machines (if applicable).

Required Skills & Experience

REQUIRED - Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).

Familiarity with Windows-based databases.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with : Soldering QFNQFPBGA components PCB troubleshooting. Reading and interpreting schematics. NTF (No Trouble Found) testing. Use of hand tools and multimeters. Microscopes and X-ray inspection equipment. Knowledge of IPC standards : o IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) o IPC-7711 / 21 (Rework Modification and Repair of Electronic Assemblies)
