We are looking for an experienced Utility-Screw Pipe Assembler to join our team at our fabrication shop in Catoosa Oklahoma. This role is responsible for cutting threading and bending pipe and tubing reading and interpreting technical drawings assembling piping systems to specification maintaining a safe and organized work area and assisting with general fabrication and material handling tasks as needed. The schedule is full-time 40-50 hours per week Monday through Friday. No per diem is offered.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions :

• Cut and thread pipe ranging from ½ to 3 Schedule 80 through Schedule 160 according to project specifications.
• Bend tubing from 1 to 2 to meet design requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings schematics and work orders to accurately assemble piping systems.
• Assemble and install pipe components with precision and attention to quality standards
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area including proper storage of tools and materials.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy alignment and quality ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and meet project deadlines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned including light material handling and support tasks.

Qualifications :

Physical Demands :

The position requires performing physically demanding tasks in an industrial or fabrication environment. Work involves standing walking bending stooping kneeling crouching and working on elevated surfaces for extended periods. Lifting and carrying materials and equipment up to 50 pounds is frequent and full-body movement is required to position and align components. The role also involves manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for welding and using hand and power tools. Exposure to varying temperatures noise fumes and typical shop conditions is expected along with proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as welding helmets gloves safety glasses hearing protection and protective footwear.

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience
